Last Friday Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced salary increases of 7-15% for the civil service.

BFM speaks to Dr Lee Hwok-Aun, senior fellow at the Iseas-Yusof Ishak Institute about whether the pay hikes are justified and the possible implications for economic growth and productivity.
