The concept of activism burnout received spotlight recently, in an op-ed piece written by Bersih’s executive director, Ooi Kok Hin.
So BFM thought it would have a discussion on why the people who are fighting to make the country a better place, struggle in the process.
First, it plays some clips from its interview with Kok Hin’s interview. Then, it hears from activists on the ground about their own experience with burnout and how they deal with it. Then, a psychologist shares their insight.
