Unpacking the Johor state election

The Johor State Legislative Assembly was officially dissolved on 22 January after the state Speaker, Suhaizan Kaiat, announced the government gazette, and a state election is around the corner.

BFM speaks to Dr Bridget Welsh, an honorary research associate from the University of Nottingham Malaysia’s Asia Research Institute, about various party tie-ups that are happening and where the parties all stand at the moment.
