In Malaysia, the epicenter of the 1MDB scandal, not a single soul has been jailed for wrong doing. Yes, the main culprit is still appealing his fine and jail term.
To me, this is symptomatic of the 1MDB scandal. We were told Goldman Sachs threw a party to celebrate getting away with peanuts from the current PN govt.
For the man in the street, we do not see the returns from the 1MDB scandal. It is the elites now that is pocketing the money.
