
The Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development recently reported that cases of domestic violence have hit a three-year high, with over 7,000 cases in 2024.
It is also important to note that violence against women and girls can be perpetrated physically or online.
BFM talks to Jayamalar Samuel, the capacity building director of All Women’s Action Society (Awam), about what needs to be done to address this.
