Prominent party leaders meet the king: What could be the outcome?

Bridget Welsh

It looks like it is a pretty hectic time at the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s palace. The King wrapped up a week of meetings with major party leaders and is now set to convene a special rulers’ conference next week.

But what exactly is going on? And should we expect any significant changes in the coming months? BFM talks to political scientist Bridget Welsh, political commentator and honorary research Associate at the University of Notthingham’s Asia Research Institute, about these developments.
