New York City’s Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani fired back at President Donald Trump’s threats to arrest him and revoke his citizenship over his pledge to block Immigration and Customs Enforcement deportations.

The 33-year-old democratic socialist, backed by unions, called the remarks an attack on democracy. Will this escalate tensions?
