Campaigning for the Malacca state election has officially kicked off following nomination day last Saturday.
Polling day on 14 November will see 79 candidates vying for 28 seats. Several of the seats will see Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan contesting directly against each other.
This state polls will further test the cooperation between BN and Pas, after a resounding victory in Negeri Sembilan in August.
What can the Malacca election tell us about the country’s next political chapter?
