A recent lawsuit by six youths under the Mana Hutan Kami (Where are our forests?) campaign now challenges the government in the High Court, alleging that more than four million hectares are slated for conversion.

Environmental lawyer Jia Yaw Kiu discusses the legal framework of the case and its potential to set a regional precedent.
