Kedah bans 4D shops

What will the Kedah menteri besar do next?

BFM dives into the Kedah state government’s ban on 4D lottery outlets in the state.

On the line are Dr Shamsul Amri Baharuddin, director of the Institute of Ethnic Studies (Kita); Malvin Kaur, a technology lawyer with LAW Partnership; and Wathshlah Naidu, executive director of the Centre for Independent Journalism (CIJ).

The speakers first look at commentaries suggesting this move is politically motivated, ahead of the Malacca state polls. Next, they discuss what it means to regulate online gambling.

Lastly, BFM zeroes in on a pair of Pas politicians berating a journalist who asked them about this.
