Israel’s prime minister has rebuked his own security minister over a video that showed him taunting peace activists arrested by Israeli police.

Itamar Ben-Gvir released the videos of himself verbally abusing those detained from a flotilla that tried to circumvent Israel’s blockade of Gaza and were detained in international waters.

Benjamin Netanyahu said Ben-Gvir’s actions were “not in line with Israel’s values and norms”.
