“The decision of the court has to be respected and implemented.”

The EU’s foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has said that all EU countries are obligated to uphold the ICC’s issuance of arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defence minister Yoav Gallant.

“This decision is a binding decision and all states, all state parties of the court, which include all members of the European Union,” he said after a joint news conference with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.
