How to push for better government accountability

Barisan Nasional is setting up taskforces to hold the government accountable. Following that announcement, BFM examines the importance of checks and balances, how effective current mechanisms are, and what role civil society can play in keeping the government in check.

BFM speaks to political scientist Prof Wong Chin Huat, Subang MP Wong Chen, who is also deputy chairman of the Special Select Committee of Finance and the Economy, and Tindak Malaysia director Danesh Prakash Chacko.
