Bridget Welsh

One becomes a politician to serve the people. If elected he gets his State Assembly or Parliamentary allowance and other perks. One does not become a politician to take away another man’s job, who is more qualified, for example, to head a GLC. If by any chance, the politician has the qualification and experience to handle the job, it may just be all right. The criterion is experience. You can’t put a fox in a chicken farm. In the end there will be no chickens left. Our back door politicians are known to skim the fat off the GLC, examples, Felda, etc,. These politicians become politicians to make money for themselves, not for the people and the country. They only know how to ‘chari lubang’. The real scum of the country.
