Gaza faces imminent famine: Children suffer the most from acute malnutrition

The Red Cross is warning that the humanitarian response in Gaza is on the verge of total collapse.

It has been two months since Israel imposed its longest blockade on the strip, preventing food, water and medicine from reaching Palestinians in need.

Children have suffered the most, with at least 23 reported to have died from malnutrition and dehydration in recent weeks.

Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reports from Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, one of the few remaining facilities that provides food supplements.
