Six states will finally go to the polls on Saturday, 12 August, 38 weeks after last November’s general election.
About 9.8 million voters are eligible to cast their ballots, including some 600,000 first-time voters following the lowering of the minimum voting age to 18.
But with political fatigue and apathy setting in, will we get a 70% voter turnout or will voters just avoid making the long trek home?
