BFM has been exploring how young Indian and Chinese Malaysians understand identity, belonging and their place in Malaysia today. It builds on Iman Research’s earlier project, Orang Kita, which focused on Malay Muslim youth.
In this episode, Violet Lee, a researcher at Iman Research, explains how young Chinese Malaysians relate to the politics of the country, as well as their yearning for community third spaces.
