Parti Bersama Malaysia – better known simply as Bersama – is the new political home of former PKR leaders Rafizi Ramli and Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, who launched the platform yesterday in Petaling Jaya.
They announced they were quitting PKR and vacating their parliamentary seats.
Rafizi describes Bersama as a multiracial movement built around political reform, generational renewal and returning power to ordinary people, not politicians.
Bersama has pledged to contest future elections entirely on its own, refusing to align with any coalition, and plans to field candidates in seats currently held by both the government and opposition.
But what does the party stand for and what is it promising? Find out more on the party’s agenda page.
