Some 10,000 participants are expected to join an anti-corruption movement organised by Suara Mahasiswa Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) on 31 December.
Speaking at a press conference on 26 December, the second deputy chairman of the Malaysian People’s Advocacy Coalition (Haram), Muhammad Zaim Zulkifli Ariff, described the gathering as a platform for uniting efforts in the fight against corruption and championing a more transparent governance system.
Haram also announced the launch of a national secretariat to strengthen its anti-corruption initiatives, expanding its efforts beyond Sabah to encompass the entire country.
