This is the story of the late activist and Internal Security Act detainee, Theresa Lim Chin Chin, an Aliran member, as told by the people who knew her best.
This video captures the launch of Theresa Lim Chin Chin: Liberation Theology, Operation Lalang, and the Price of Pursuing Justice, a posthumous book tribute compiled to document her life as an activist and her harrowing experience during the 1987 Operation Lalang ISA detention.
Through personal reflections from family and fellow detainees, the event highlights her enduring resilience, commitment to social justice, and the importance of remembering the critical, often overlooked, chapters of Malaysian history
