US President Donald Trump has now been in office for just over a year in his second term.
He has created numerous challenges for his own people and for the leaders of almost every nation.
Trump has been testing, trapping and attempting to intimidate every concerned person while operating from the White House.
Yet he is not a carefree one-year-old child. Most leaders have sought to humour him, but a few are not amused. He has caused more alarm, anger and distress than any of his predecessors.

This is likely to invite more analysis, scrutiny and a more decisive reaction, which is more likely to come from his own nation’s institutions. Respect for the sovereignty of the US is a definite constraint other world leaders have to observe.
Trump cannot possibly get away with easily claiming control over Gaza or Greenland. There will be pushback. That much is certain; only the tone, type and timeframe of the pushback are not certain.
Let us trust all will be well.
