Now a major Forest City fraud case has been uncovered in Johor. Police have busted two major scam centres in the state that drew money from victims abroad, mainly in China and Indonesia.
Over 335 people, mostly foreigners, were arrested, allegedly for online scams including love scams and fraudulent cryptocurrency investment schemes., crypto trading and other crimes.
The trust our society places in safeguards, which are often weak, has been exploited.
