PKR has taken an unconventional step forward in fielding several fresh faces as candidates for the upcoming general election.
The candidates, announced by PKR’s leadership, provide hope for a new beginning, in the face of the racial and religious scare tactics of Umno-Barisan Nasional.
Only a confident leadership will dare to rise above the doldrums of war cries that keep spewing racism, religious mantras of acute divisiveness, and even ridiculously branding some parties as communists.
Anwar Ibrahim and Rafizi Ramli, bring it on. Keep pushing the benchmarks to new heights. It is high time we took the leap.
Enough of the scaremongering and scarred politicking of Umno-BN, which has been the ‘ammunition’ of national destruction for far too long.
Having top civil servants, the late and respected ‘Tok Guru’ Nik Aziz Nik Mat’s son, and even a scientist-activist disabled from birth will go a long way in driving home the message of hope to people whose spirits have been trampled upon relentlessly.
God willing, the people of this beloved land will open their eyes and let the brave new world of Malaysia blossom at the upcoming election.

Anwar, Rafizi and all the leaders aligned within Pakatan Harapan must march onwards as the people’s hope gets ignited.
Let the election be the gateway to a greater nation and greater people. Hopefully, all principled media will do their fair share in this march to a whole new future for Malaysia and everyone in this land.
