Angry Malaysian is one of many who are furious at the thought of the kidnappers and murderers off the coast of Sabah getting away scot-free.

I am fully supportive of Penampang MP (PKR) Darell Leiking’s call that we must act; otherwise, these incidents will keep on happening as the culprits have been getting away.

We did not do much in the past when these incidents happened.

Everyday I hope to see a report in our newspapers that our government has retaliated to an earlier cold-blooded murder of our fellow Malaysian. I am sure many Malaysian are still furious at the thought of the murderer getting away scot-free.

The kidnapping itself was despicable. To murder after a failure of negotiations shows that they are displaying their arrogance to all Malaysians. Imagine how the family members must be feeling, when until now little action has been taken.

Our intelligence services most likely cannot operate on Philippines soil without irking the Philippines government. But hey, did the Philippines government help in securing the release of our fellow Malaysian?

Maybe we should ask the Philippine government, in the spirit of Asean cooperation, for permission to infiltrate the stronghold of the thugs who kidnap and murder civilians and bring the culprits to book. That would be lesson not to kidnap Malaysians anymore.

Angry Malaysian is the pseudonym of an Aliran reader who is always angry because the bright future of Malaysia has been eroded by incompetence, nepotism, apathy, laziness, racism, double standards and arrogance.
