How can it be?

4

A poem by Prema Devaraj dedicated to the PSM 6 detained under the Emergency Ordinance.

How can it be …
That rapists, murderers, drug dealers, child abductors and human traffickers
Can roam freely in the streets
Yet the PSM 6 remain in detention

How can it be …
That fascist and racist politicians
Can continue to lie, incite, threaten and bully
Yet the PSM 6 remain in detention

How can it be …
That unprincipled politicians, with no thought for the rakyat
Continue to plunder the country’s resources
Yet the PSM 6 remain in detention

How can it be …
That the ridiculous claims of waging war against the King
Have come to naught
Yet the PSM 6 remain in detention

How can it be …
That the real threats to national well-being
Still maneuver and plot in Putrajaya
Yet the PSM 6 remain in detention

How can it be …
That the government of the day
Holds a seat on the Human Rights Council
Yet the PSM 6 remain in detention

How can it be …
That while basic religious teachings promote
Service to others, help for the needy and a just world
Yet the PSM 6 remain in detention

How can it be …
How can it be …

Come the next General Elections, I know how I will vote.

How will you?

Yes, we are waking up. We need to take off fear and put on our new courage. It is not the rakyat who jump in fright at shadows now, it is those clinging to power. Their legitimacy is spent, their mandate has expired. It is time to move forward with lessons learned from the past. We cannot look back, there is no turning back. This is our time , our moment, OUR HOMELAND. We must look after it and nurture it for ourselves and future generations of Malaysians. Those who dare fight tyranny are the true lovers of this nation, not the self-seekers whose only aim is to ‘milk’ the country like a cash cow and live off the fat of the land selling us out to accumulate personal profit. We are the judges of the present regime and our vote will be our verdict.

As we have all predicted that we must all be beware that Kotor UMNO BN will use all the dirtiest means to stop Bersih to Rally Protest in Stadiums/Elsewhere using all the dirtiest of their dirty tactics that they used with impunity for more than 50 years of their rule. And now Kotor UMNO BN dared to claim and Hishammuddin dared to threaten all the media arbiterilly that there was no Police Brutality against the Rakyats when they fired tear gas canisters with intention to cause hurt and fired them indoors and in the underpass at Sentral. Kotor is the right word to describe UMNO BN from the more than 50 years of track records of oppressions of the Rakyats by using the Police Force as their tools of violence and blatant mismanagement of Malaysia with rampant corruptions and cheating and plundering the coffers of the Federal Government. Kotor is the word aptly describe UMNO BN and the underhand dirty tactics they use to suppress the press and misinform the general public of Malaysia. Malaysians of all races must get rid of this Kotor evil regime… Read more »

Yup, come the next GE I too know who I’ll vote for. And it won’t be for thieves, munafiqs and their racist parties. Neither will it be for those who abuse their high position… Certainly it will not be bullies who are paid by the public to uphold law and enforce justice but chose instead to order the men and women under them to help protect wrong doers in high places and terrorise the public. I chose to make a difference so our country has hope for its future.
