Bersih 2.0 chairperson Thomas Fan speaks to Robert Peden, the former chief executive and chief electoral officer of the New Zealand Electoral Commission, on the recently concluded New Zealand general election, which Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s Labour Party won ina landslide victory.

We want to understand how New Zealand conducts its elections especially during a health pandemic. New Zealand switched from the first-past-the-post electoral system to a Mixed Member Proportional system in 1996. We also want to understand more of the MMP system from Peden in this conversation.
