Tindak Malaysia and Persatuan Pemangkin Daya Masyarakat (Rose) are pleased to announce the official launch of Persempadanan Sarawak 2026 (Sarawal Electoral Boundaries 2026), a dedicated online portal supporting the upcoming exercise to redraw electoral boundaries in Sarawak.
This initiative is based on work undertaken by Tindak Malaysia. Tindak Malaysia is currently undergoing organisational restructuring, and Persatuan Bertindak Pilihan Raya Bebas dan Saksama (Tindak) is also a co-signatory to this statement.
Persempadanan Sarawak 2026 is designed to empower Sarawakian voters, civil society organisations and other stakeholders with the data, tools and guidance needed to better understand and participate in the upcoming redrawing process.
As the exercise is around the corner, Tindak Malaysia has consolidated its extensive collection of microsites, interactive maps and analytical resources into a single, accessible platform.
The portal features an interactive dashboard that allows users to easily navigate between sections and access relevant materials.
The sections:
- Ordinary voters
- CSOs and political parties
- Analysis (of GPS proposal)
- Academics and experts (resources)
Users can interact with the dashboard in the portal to access a specific section.
- Sign up for Aliran's free daily email updates or weekly newsletters or both
- Make a one-off donation to Persatuan Aliran Kesedaran Negara (ALIRAN), Maybank a/c 507246118995 or CIMB a/c 8004240948

Users may click on a box to be redirected to the relevant section.
The portal caters to multiple audiences, including individuals, civil society organisations and political parties.
For ordinary voters, this section simplifies complex legal concepts within the Thirteenth Schedule of the Federal Constitution. It provides a step-by-step guide on how individuals can envision and advocate for fair boundaries.
For civil society and political parties, bilingual sites are developed in collaboration with Rose and supported by International IDEA. They outline the technical requirements for filing formal objections and explaining the procedural timeline.
For analysts and researchers: the portal offers various tools to support the study of proposed boundary changes, including those from the recently released Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) proposal, and to help users prepare informed responses to potential redrawing scenarios.
There is also a list of reference materials containing the legal framework, infographics, instructional slides and data hosted on GitHub.
The electoral redrawing process is a rare constitutional window to ensure fairer representation.
Tindak Malaysia, alongside Rose, invites all voters in Sarawak to play an active role in defending their voting rights. Therefore, we call on the people of Sarawak to register as redelineation objectors. Interested individuals can sign up with Tindak Malaysia or Rose.
