Deviant cult movements have no place in Malaysia

The ongoing investigations and actions taken against GISB Holdings, its business and key figures of the movement are both prudent and timely.

Patriot believes the government should disband this deviant cult that rightfully should be classified as haram (forbidden).

We cannot allow this group to exist as they practise the wrong teachings of Islam. They should immediately be disbanded like what was done to the Al-Arqam movement some decades earlier.

Patriot fully supports the sultan of Perak’s call and the directive from the Selangor sultan.

Islam has been well nurtured through the wisdom and foresight of our rulers, who are, by our Constitution, the heads of Islam.

Patriot also supports the actions that the government and the enforcement agencies have taken so far. The matter must be pursued to the end so that those harbouring deceitful, extremist and deviant agendas will be forewarned decisively.

Patriot, whose members are largely retired officers from the security and police forces, knows too well how extremism and deviant teachings can take root in a country and cause havoc, threatening the peace and sovereignty of our beloved nation.

Having served the nation in defending the country against all forms of national threats, we, the members of Patriot, strongly believe that catheterising such deviant teachings, practices and all things haram against Islam in Malaysia is for the good of not only Muslims but also in the best interest of our multi-religious and multicultural people.

Patriot stands by our rulers in defence of our nation’s future and for taking the appropriate action.
