Many Malaysian NGOs were left stumped by the government’s responses during the second constructive dialogue with the Cedaw Committee at its 69th session in Geneva. The committee was looking into Malaysia’s progress in complying with the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women.
