I still recall my years in the Civil Service in the late 80s when we thought that we had more freedom of speech than our departed friends down South. That was because our friends from the South always stuck to their breif.

The number one story floated around outside these meetings runs like this. Apparently, during one of the High Level meetings the Prime Ministers went on a fishing trip along the causeway. Our PM caught 24 fishes that day and his friend from the South caught none. Then one of then Civil Servants will beg the question. Why was that? And thye reply would be, "When the PM from the South threw his line the fish refused to open its mouth.

Nice story. But the only twist is that 50 years down the road that PM has taken his country from a per capita income of $400.00 in 1966 to over $40,000.00 today.

Ha Ha Ha. May be one more Ha. Good Day and have a good laugh.
